Motherhood Session with Jordie // La Grande, Oregon (Copy)
If you are a photographer, chances are that you tell your clients to get in front of the camera often as mothers - but then you rarely take your own advice! When fellow local photographer Jordan Uhlman came to me for a motherhood session with her final sweet baby, I knew we had to include the older girls too and capture some of those sweet moments that photographers always capture for other mamas and tend to miss out on ourselves.
Jordan so kindly shared her own perspective of our time together, and allowed me to share them with you!
“Motherhood is a beautiful, incredible feeling, but often it looks like chaos in the least aesthetically pleasing way. But man, it often feels like magic, joy and well - all the best things. A day with River, in her darling studio, brings to life that feeling of motherhood. As I snuggled my girls, just as I do at home, she danced around catching all the magic I feel daily. Nothing posed. Nothing forced. Just the most organic and sweetest moments with my girls. The moments that will always bring me back to this time of my life and the deep joy that is so unique to the early stages of motherhood. I couldn’t ask for a better experience nor more beautiful images to treasure always.”
